A lot of college athletes are understandbly nervous for their first game, meet or tournament. Sometimes that effects their performance.
That wasn’t the case at all for Joey Harrigan.
A former golfer at Highland Park High School, Harrigan shined in the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute golf team’s second tournament of the year, the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate in Conn. Harrigan sat out the previous tournament, but placed ninnth in the Lee Memorial, posting scores of 75 and 73 to finish with a 148.
